Member of the month!

There is a woman that comes to Evolve U with a huge heart and the sweetest laugh of a child, the drive of a professional athlete and the ability to inspire everyone around her . She is a RN for Good Samaritan Homecare during the day and a health and fitness fanatic in her spare time.

This woman's name is Sandy Sundin and she has lost ONE HUNDRED pounds since beginning her journey to good health.  And as she continues to transform her body, we continue to see her mind and heart grow!
 

 "After yo/yo dieting and a cycle of losing and re-gaining since becoming a mother 20 years ago, I  started my final journey to a healthy lifestyle and stepped through the studio doors of Evolve U in August of 2014 with a friend and family member, who was on the same journey and inspired me to join my first of two weight loss challenges.  Since that time, I have so much more energy and self-confidence, I feel like a 19 year old in a 43-year-old’s body!  I am doing things that I couldn’t do when I was 19! Heck I couldn’t do pushups and no way would I even consider doing a burpee, but the members who I work out with and trainers at Evolve U inspire others to do more.  

I have found that I have eliminated the “I can’t” and I now say “I’ll try.”  If I had to pick a favorite class at Evolve U I could not do so, I love them all.  I am hoping to try the Small Group, Senior Dance class and Lunch Break classes in the future.  Outside the studio, I work as a RN for Good Samaritan Home Care.  I have found myself loving fitness so much that I love to make sure my clients demonstrate that they are following through with their home exercise regimen provided by our Physical and Occupational Therapy Team. " 

Sandy has recently taken her love of helping others to the next level and is now the leader of TOPS in International Falls.  She believes in this group that meets weekly because it helps hold it’s members accountable and on track. 

Her passion for life, for her job and to live a healthy lifestyle radiates every single day. We thank U Sandy for being such a wonderful inspiration to us, our studio and our community!!
