Meghan Cassibo is not only an amazing young woman, but she also encompasses what it truly means to live a healthy lifestyle. Meghan is lucky to have a husband (pictured below) who will workout by her side…he’s even been to the studio!! She is also a fitness instructor under the arthritis foundation at Rainy Lake Medical Center. Since she began her journey, Meghan has walked through the door at Evolve U more than any other member. She began working out on March 11, 2014 and has since been signed in at Evolve U an outstanding TWO HUNDRED AND EIGHTEEN TIMES!! Meghan has participated in a wide variety of our programs and classes, but one thing we always know for sure…when she walks in the door and takes a second to change her shoes, she is going to give 110%! Her dedication to creating a healthy lifestyle not only inspires us (Erin & Ashley), our clients, family and friends, but is clearly evident through her physical changes. Please read on to hear more from Meghan’s about her journey:
“I can think back to a little over a year ago when I was walking up the two flights of stairs at work and I became winded. That was the moment I knew that I needed to change something in my life. I had always been active until I started college. I put myself and my health aside to focus on my education. I always would make an excuse why I could not exercise or eat healthy. This time, I had no excuses. My friend was getting married the summer of 2014 and we decided to try Evolve U. I experienced my first class and I was hooked. I found myself taking class after class and pushing myself to places I did not know was possible. Eating healthy started to become easier when I surrounded myself with individuals who had the same goals. I have participated in a boot camp and two weight loss challenges at Evolve U. I was always the person who never felt comfortable in a typical gym setting. I immediately felt welcomed and encouraged when I began my journey there. I was envious of individuals who were strong and athletic. I dreamed of being able to run more than a block without fatigue. I am happy and proud to say that because of my journey at Evolve U, I can run four miles with ease. I have changed so much physically, mentally, and emotionally in this last year that I cannot thank Ashley, Erin, and all of the members enough for motivating me to achieve what I thought was impossible.”
